Christian Intuitive Artist’s Manifesto – Printable Download

About a year ago, I wrote out all of the reasons I love creativity, moreover, why I love it as an avenue to further my focus on God.  As most of us know, sometimes when we try something new, doubt sets in.  When it comes to art, sometimes it’s as if you’re not worthy of the breath you just took.  I mean come on, why can’t I draw that amazing picture I saw on Pinterest?!

I believe this to be the case for two reasons.

One, I continually need to fill my mind, heart, and soul with God’s truth for me!  I am capable, I am loved even with imperfections, and that all things work together for good, for those who love God.

Two, any time there is this much opposition, well, it’s an opportunity to dig in deeper through faith and persevere!

This past weekend, I sat down and gathered all of my thoughts on why this is so important to me and created a printable manifesto to share.

I’m reminded of Habakkuk 2:1-3.  “I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved.  Then the LORD answered me and said, ‘Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.  For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.…'”

Now it’s your turn!  Write out your own reasons for creating from a God-honoring and faith building perspective.  Hashtag on Instagram #christianintuitiveart and share it with my Facebook Page!
